Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Senior Dietitian / Clinical Dietitian / Hospital Nutritionist to manage patient nutrition care for inpatient and outpatient departments in a reputed multi-speciality hospital in KPHB, Hyderabad.
The ideal candidate should have strong clinical nutrition knowledge, patient counselling skills, therapeutic diet planning, and hospital diet management experience.
This role involves working closely with doctors, ICU teams, nursing staff, and patient care departments to improve patient recovery through medical nutrition therapy.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess nutritional status of patients (IPD & OPD)
• Plan and prescribe therapeutic diets based on medical conditions
• Manage clinical nutrition protocols for ICU, post-surgery, and critical care patients
• Provide diet counselling for diabetes, kidney disease, cardiac patients, obesity, and lifestyle disorders
• Design custom diet charts and nutrition plans
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and hospital kitchen
• Monitor patient recovery through nutrition interventions
• Educate patients on healthy eating, lifestyle management, and preventive nutrition
• Maintain patient nutrition records and diet documentation
• Ensure hospital diet standards, hygiene, and food safety compliance
