Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Sales Manager to drive sales of Road Safety Products, Building Materials, Construction Materials, Infrastructure Products, and Building Products by developing strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, developers, consultants, dealers, distributors, procurement teams, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B Sales, B2C Sales, Project Sales, Institutional Sales, Channel Sales, and Business Development within the construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, and building materials industry, with a proven ability to generate new business while maintaining long-term customer relationships,
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction, infrastructure, road safety, civil engineering, and building materials sectors.
- Promote and sell road safety products, building materials, construction products, infrastructure materials, and industrial solutions to builders, contractors, developers, architects, consultants, dealers, distributors, government agencies, and institutional clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive customer retention and repeat business.
- Conduct regular customer visits, project site meetings, product presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Generate enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders to achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Monitor project pipelines and identify upcoming construction projects, infrastructure projects, commercial projects, residential projects, and industrial developments.
- Coordinate with operations, supply chain, logistics, and customer support teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy customer accounts and receivables.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing strategies, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Prepare daily sales reports, customer visit reports, lead generation reports, and monthly sales forecasts.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, dealer meets, construction expos, infrastructure events, and industry conferences.
- Develop and expand dealer networks, distributor channels, and key customer accounts within the assigned territory.
Required Skills
- Strong B2B Sales, B2C Sales, Project Sales, Institutional Sales, and Negotiation Skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of the construction industry, building materials market, road safety products, infrastructure sector, and procurement processes.
- Ability to identify opportunities, generate leads, convert prospects, and close sales independently.
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving and account management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM Software, Microsoft Office, Sales Reporting Tools, and Lead Management Systems.
- Strong market analysis, territory management, and sales forecasting capabilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresher or 2+years of experience in Building Materials Sales, Construction Product Sales, Road Safety Product Sales, Infrastructure Sales, Project Sales, Channel Sales, or Business Development.
- Freshers with strong communication skills, sales aptitude, and a passion for business development may also be considere.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Existing network with builders, contractors, architects, developers, consultants, dealers, distributors, procurement managers, project managers, and infrastructure companies.
- Understanding of construction projects, infrastructure projects, tendering processes, procurement cycles, and project sales management.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
- Experience in handling key accounts, channel partners, dealer development, and business expansion activities.
