Job Summary:

The Lab Incharge is responsible for overseeing daily laboratory operations, ensuring accurate test results, maintaining quality standards, and managing lab staff and equipment efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day laboratory activities
• Ensure proper sample collection, handling, and processing
• Maintain accuracy and reliability of test results
• Monitor and implement quality control procedures
• Manage laboratory staff, including training and scheduling
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of lab equipment
• Maintain inventory of reagents and consumables
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Coordinate with doctors and other departments for smooth workflow
• Maintain proper documentation and reports

Qualifications:

• B.Sc (Medical Laboratory Technology / Life Sciences)
• DMLT / MLT certification

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory
• Prior supervisory experience preferred

Preferred:

• Experience in NABL/NABH accredited labs
• Knowledge of automated lab systems
