Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced 2D Echo Technician / Echocardiography Technician with 2–5 years of relevant experience in cardiac diagnostic imaging.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in 2D Echocardiography, M-Mode, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies and be capable of performing echocardiography procedures, obtaining high-quality cardiac images, and assisting cardiologists in accurate cardiac assessments.

Candidates with experience in hospitals, cardiac care centres, vascular hospitals, and diagnostic centres are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 2D Echocardiography, M-Mode, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies as per clinical requirements.
• Prepare patients for echocardiography procedures and explain the procedure clearly.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment properly.
• Obtain high-quality cardiac images and measurements for diagnostic evaluation.
• Assist cardiologists during echocardiography examinations.
• Maintain accurate patient records, examination details, and diagnostic documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate maintenance whenever required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies.
• Coordinate with cardiologists, doctors, nurses, and other diagnostic team members.
• Ensure the echocardiography room and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and organised condition.

• B.Sc. / Diploma in Cardiac Care Technology, Echocardiography, or a relevant healthcare qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience as a 2D Echo Technician, Echocardiography Technician, or Cardiac Diagnostic Technician.
• Practical knowledge of 2D Echo, M-Mode, Doppler, and Color Doppler techniques.
• Good understanding of cardiac anatomy, cardiac imaging, and basic cardiac procedures.
• Ability to obtain quality echocardiographic images and accurate measurements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong patient-care orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with the cardiology team.
• Previous experience in a multispecialty hospital, cardiac hospital, vascular hospital, or diagnostic centre is preferred.
